در آمریکا، طرفداران فرهنگ آمریکایی از قشر کمتر تحصیل کرده اند و منتقدین آن از قشر تحصیل کرده و لیبرال. بر عکس  در ایران، منتقدین مردم کوچه بازار هستند که میگویند تقصیر ماست و طرفداران فرهنگ ایرانی، مردم تحصیل کرده ای که متوجه اشکالات مذهب شده اند.


In the US, critics of the American culture are statistically more educated than the proponents.  In Iran, it seems to be the reverse.


In Iran, those educated enough to see faults in religious thought are heavy proponents of Persian Culture and in the US, the better educated liberal class is the biggest opponent of what makes America, America.
